Transparent supply

From the harvester in the high mountains to your kitchen in Moscow or Almaty – every step of the way, we can show it. Not 'trust us', but 'here is the path of this specific package'.

Harvester and place

Every batch has a region and month of harvest. We don't write 'Himalayas, summer' – we write 'Dolpo, Upper Mustang, June 2026'. Where relevant, with photos and the names of the harvesting families.

We pay harvesters directly, bypassing middlemen. Our base price is 2–3× higher than the regional average. That's more expensive – but otherwise local families end up selling to whoever passes through, and that harvest gets blended with anything.

Processing and drying

From the harvest site, mushrooms are dried under controlled conditions – no chemical preservatives, no drying accelerants. This adds 3–4 weeks to the process, and we don't cut it short.

After drying – manual selection. From each batch we remove anything that doesn't meet standard: unripe, damaged, pollen-coated. Typically 15–20 % of the initial mass is removed.

Lab control

Every batch goes through an independent lab before packaging. What we test:

  • Heavy metals (lead, cadmium, mercury, arsenic)
  • Microbiology (total load, yeasts, moulds, pathogens)
  • Moisture and beta-glucan content
  • Species identification via DNA barcoding (for cordyceps)

Results are available on request by batch number. Not 'somewhere in the archive' – by a direct link. Every package has its specific report.

Package and traceability

Every package gets its own batch number and date. Through that number you can always request when it was harvested, where it was tested, what the lab showed. We keep this data for at least 5 years.

Included with the product is a short 'journey' card of your package: from harvest to delivery window. This isn't marketing – it's a route we are accountable for.

What we don't hide

We work with a product of nature, and nature fluctuates. In some seasons cordyceps is thinner, in others it's richer. We do not tint or blend 'for standardisation'. If the season was average – we say so on the package.

Transparency isn't only 'show the good parts'. It's also owning what was left off the picture.
